Â鶹´«Ã½

Today, on Pink Shirt Day, we do more than wear a colour: we take a stand. The Â鶹´«Ã½ stands united in saying no to bullying and yes to kindness, respect, and inclusion.

Bullying, whether in person or online, leaves deep and lasting scars. It isolates, discourages, and diminishes the confidence of those who experience it. No child should ever feel afraid to be themselves. As a school board, we are committed to creating a culture where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered.

Standing against bullying isn’t just about what we say, it’s about what we do. It’s about choosing courage over silence, kindness over cruelty, and respect over indifference. It happens when a student stands up for a friend, when a teacher creates a safe and inclusive classroom, and when families and communities come together to build a world where no one is left behind.

Wearing pink today is a symbol, but the real impact comes from our actions. Let’s be leaders in kindness, defenders of respect, and voices for those who feel unheard. Let’s ensure that no child stands alone, no voice goes unheard, and no act of bullying is ignored.

The strongest message we can send is not just in what we wear, it’s in how we treat each other—today and always.
